What topics are the finance and banking experts in Frankfurt and beyond discussing? What events are taking place this year? On this page, Frankfurt Main Finance provides an overview of the financial sector events in Frankfurt am Main.

Our aim is to create and moderate high-quality dialogue platforms. To this end, the Financial Centre Frankfurt delivers its expertise and network. One example is the Frankfurt Finance Summit, where top decision-makers from banks, central banks, insurance companies, supervisory authorities, stock exchanges, politics and academia meet annually to discuss current topics in finance, banking, risk management and regulation.

Financial Centre Breakfasts are another top event for the financial sector in Frankfurt. Launched in 2014 by Frankfurt Main Finance and the Association of Foreign Banks, the event series highlights the importance of international financial services providers as a key economic factor for Frankfurt, Hesse and Germany.

As the voice of the Financial Centre, Frankfurt Main Finance attaches particular importance to being present at key events in the financial sector. At Finanzplatztag, around 500 experts from all sectors of Frankfurt’s financial sector meet once a year to discuss the most pressing topics for the industry and the Financial Centre Frankfurt. The two-day event is organized by the WM Group, a member of Frankfurt Main Finance and publisher of the Börsen-Zeitung. A highlight of 2019’s Finanzplatztag was the FinTechGermany Award’s open jury meeting on the event’s first day. The FinTechGermany Award is Germany’s leading investor-driven prize to honour outstanding FinTech start-ups. The FinTechGermany Award organizers Frankfurt Main Finance, Business Angels Frankfurt RheinMain, TechFluence and WM Gruppe/Börsen-Zeitung use the open jury meeting to meet some of the FinTechGermany Award applicants in person and provide the start-ups a platform to present themselves.
