Shanghai Asset Management Summit 2021

With the topic of “Asset Management in a Global Perspective”, Shanghai Asset Management Summit 2021 invited representatives of financial regulators, leaders of financial infrastructure institutions and top asset management institutions from home and abroad to share and discuss best practices of international asset management centres. Hubertus Väth, Managing Director of Frankfurt Main Finance, held a keynote speech, talking about the history and experiences of Frankfurt’s development into a leading global asset management centre. As a city once dominated by industry, Frankfurt’s financial transformation has been remarkable. Shanghai, the “birthplace of modern Chinese industry”, has a similar urban DNA to Frankfurt as a rapidly developing city along the Huangpu River. Therefore, an in-depth understanding of Frankfurt’s development experience is of great significance for Shanghai.
