DekaBank Deutsche Girozentrale is a German credit institution based in Berlin and Frankfurt am Main. DekaBank is the investment firm of the Sparkasse, and together with its subsidiaries forms the Deka Group. As a central service provider, it combines expertise in asset management and banking – as asset manager, financier, issuer, structurer and custodian. With total assets of around 276 billion euros (as at December 31, 2018) and around four and a half million securities accounts under management, the Deka Group is one of the largest securities service providers in Germany.
