We congratulate Florian Rentsch on his appointment as special representative of the state government for the financial centre Frankfurt. As the former Hessian Minister of Economics, Rentsch has done a lot for the financial centre. For example, he set the course for the acquisition of GLEIF and the RMB Trading Hub in Frankfurt. Rentsch has many years of experience and an extensive network that helps to bundle forces in business, politics and science for the benefit of the location. Frankfurt is the leading financial centre in continental Europe and an attractive and dynamic location with considerable strengths.
We look forward to working with it to enhance Frankfurt’s competitiveness and international reputation. Especially in times of disruption and transformation, the financial centre is of strategic importance. Rentsch’s expertise will be in demand.
