Food for Thought – Inspiration for a financial center in transition
Food for Thought is the digital evolution of Frankfurt Main Finance’s long-standing Financial Center Breakfast – and today one of the most established online formats for knowledge transfer, dialogue, and international perspectives in the Frankfurt financial center. Since 2014, we have been bringing together high-caliber experts from business, science, politics, and regulation to classify relevant developments, shed light on global interrelationships, and provide orientation in an increasingly complex financial world.
Together with the Association of German Banks, we offer our members and guests compact, digital presentations on selected key topics – from geopolitical trends and regulatory changes to technological innovations. The events combine in-depth analysis with opportunities for exchange and discussion, providing a wide range of first-hand insights.
Food for Thought provides food for thought, presents complex developments in an understandable way, and helps decision-makers recognize and classify changes at an early stage. Each edition focuses on a current core topic—presented by knowledgeable speakers who share their expertise and experience directly with the audience.
We invite you to become part of this vibrant knowledge platform and actively shape the future of the financial center.
„FOOD for THOUGHT“ Online Events
Since 2014, Frankfurt Main Finance has been organizing a series of lectures entitled “Finanzplatz Frühstück” (Financial Center Breakfast). High-profile speakers comment on current topics relating to the financial center from an international perspective. In addition to interesting insights, attendees are treated to a hearty breakfast and the opportunity for lively discussion within the community.
During the coronavirus lockdown, the tradition of financial center breakfasts is being continued with the online lecture series “FOOD for THOUGHT” – virtual delicacies that are nutritious, tasty, and easy to digest. The video and audio broadcasts offer lively impressions and the opportunity for lively dialogue. The breakfasts and online events are organized in cooperation with the Association of German Banks Abroad (Verband der Auslandsbanken in Deutschland e.V.).
