The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Frankfurt Main Finance (FMF) and China Innovation Finance Institute (CDIFI) was signed to strengthen cooperation in the financial industry. CDIFI is actively supporting the efforts of FMF to establish Frankfurt as a leading global financial hub. This is mainly done by promoting strategies for markets in Greater China, especially in Western China. At the same time, FMF supports Chengdu’s plans to become a leading financial centre in Western China.
Established in Chengdu in 2022, the CDIFI aims to promote innovation in finance, investment and business. One key goal is to promote Chengdu as a major financial services centre along the New Silk Road and in western China. It is actively in partnership with international financial centres and innovation hubs. CDIFI plays a proactive role in Chengdu’s financial development, promotes international investment, and assists Chengdu Municipality in decision-making and capacity building in innovation finance.
