When Frankfurt transforms into one huge, pulsating club, it’s clear that the World Club Dome is back. In 2025, the Main metropolis once again played host to one of Europe’s biggest music festivals – an event that not only electrifies fans of electronic music, but also puts Frankfurt on the international map as a business location.
A festival of superlatives – with economic power
Since its premiere, the World Club Dome has become a cultural beacon for the city. With spectacular stages, visionary design, an impressive festival area and acts from all over the world, the event attracts international attention to Frankfurt year after year. From this year’s ‘Space Edition’ with its futuristic staging and elaborately designed worlds of experience to the well-thought-out overall concept, it is clear that World Club Dome has long been more than just a music festival – it is an experiential space with charisma. And last but not least, it is a powerful catalyst for Frankfurt’s hotel, restaurant, retail and mobility sectors. What’s more, it anchors Frankfurt in the consciousness of young, globally connected target groups – as a creative, open and sustainable metropolis.
Between bass, branding and business
What makes World Club Dome special is its consistent storytelling – each year has a new, visionary theme. From the ‘Space Edition’ to the ‘Atlantis’ concept, not only stages but entire worlds of experience are created that appeal to young audiences from all over the world. This is precisely what makes the festival so attractive to companies, investors and institutions that want to use Frankfurt as a platform.
The city reception as a stage for ideas
Once again this year, Frankfurt Economic Development and the City of Frankfurt hosted a municipal reception at the Panorama Loft – a box in the business area of Deutsche Bank Park with a direct view of the festival proceedings. In an exclusive atmosphere, stakeholders from politics, business, tourism and urban society – including Frankfurt Main Finance – came together to discuss Frankfurt’s role as an urban experience space and international business location. The focus was on the strategic importance of the festival for the city and the opportunities arising from the combination of event culture, creative industries and location development.
Stephanie Wüst, Head of the Department of Economics, Law and Reforms for the City of Frankfurt am Main, was delighted with the positive response and thanked the BigCityBeats team for their long-standing and professional organisation of the festival. According to DJ Mag, World Club Dome is one of the ten most popular festivals worldwide – a success that not only puts the organisers in the spotlight, but the entire city as well.
Frankfurt – A stage with a future
Major events such as the World Club Dome are much more than just entertainment: they act as economic drivers, strengthen cross-industry networks and help to redefine Frankfurt’s image internationally – young, lively, forward-looking. For a city that not only knows banking, but also beats.
